BIG Grid will build and roll out a Dutch nation-wide Grid-based e-Science infrastructure, that is aimed at strengthening the international position of the Netherlands in many scientific areas. BIG Grid encompasses data storage facilities and data processing services, enabled by Grid services. The first part of the infrastructure will be operational in September of 2007.
