3Dmouse can capture full 3D data at micron resolution using low-cost imaging equipment available in most biological laboratories. The technique is known as optical projection tomography (OPT) and it produces 3D microscopic images from translucent stained samples of high fidelity and resolution. Grid technologies have the power to add enormous value to the OPT technique.
