SGI scales up at Supercomputing 2009 with HPC product launch and showcase of leading HPC solutions

Fremont 10 November 2009 SGI, a global expert in HPC and data centre solutions, will showcase its foremost technology offerings that scale from the personal supercomputer to its largest scale-up high performance computing (HPC) platform at Supercomputing 2009. SGI will also unveil and demonstrate its newest scale-up server product at the conference.

Other in-booth demonstrations will include: Octane III, SGI's personal supercomputer, ICE Cube modular data centre, CloudRack scalable workgroup clusters, SGI Altix ICE departmental server, and SGI InfiniteStorage hardware and software products.

Industry leading SGI customers will also present their successes with SGI technologies. SGI Professional Services representatives will discuss how customers can optimize infrastructure, enhance efficiency and deliver meaningful, measurable value with SGI services.
