Terra Soft now offers complete, turn-key IBM BladeCenter QS21 Cell blade solutions with Yellow Dog Enterprise Linux pre-installed and fully configured. The QS21 blades with Cell processors offer a unique opportunity to accelerate compute-intensive tasks such as image processing, signal processing, and graphics rendering. These single-wide blades double the compute density over prior QS20 product, with up to 6.4 TFLOPS in a single BladeCenter H chassis. On-board 2GB RAM and dual gig-e NICs, with optional 4x Infiniband, Serial Attached SCSI, and 2GB buffer I/O memory is also included.

Terra Soft's Solution integrates a JS21 server node with Yellow Dog Enterprise Linux pre-installed and configured to NFS boot the 12 diskless QS21 compute blades. A powerful, self-contained solution.
This package includes:
- IBM BladeCenter "H" chassis.
- 1 x IBM JS21 dual-970 server blade: 2.3GHz, 2GB RAM, 146GB SATA.
- 12 x IBM QS21 dual-Cell blades: 3.2GHz, 2GB RAM, no local drive.
- Yellow Dog Enterprise Linux pre-configured for local NFS booting.
- 2 x IBM Advanced Management Modules.
- 2 x Nortel 2/3 copper gigabit switch modual, 6 ports.
- 2 x power supplies and cables.
- 1 x YDEL v6.0 license for JS21 head node.
